My Tees Valley, the ambassador scheme which has been developed by visitTeesvalley, together with the five local authorities along with support from Business Link and One NorthEast to raise awareness and pride in what Tees Valley has to offer to visitors and residents as a good place to live work, play and visit has now officially launched.
My Tees Valley will deliver free three hour workshops to over 1,000 individuals from the tourism, hospitality and retail sectors over a 12 month period. Each participant will receive a full colour participant guide, My Tees Valley lapel badge and regular e-newsletters updating them on the visitor offer.
Businesses which have signed up to date include The Premier Inn and Thistle Hotel in Middlesbrough, Rockliffe Hall Hotel in Darlington, Hartlepool’s Maritime Experience and Gisborough Hall Hotel.
