The second annual refresh of this Guide was distributed to businesses via email during the week commencing 16 August. The Guide is a key information tool providing businesses with details of business support provision available from Darlington Borough Council and other partner organisations.
The Guide was initially produced in hard copy format back in summer 2008 and was hand delivered to businesses across the Borough.
Each year we produce an electronic update which is e-mailed out to businesses. The update includes revisions, which businesses can store electronically, or if they prefer, they can print out the revised pages and insert within their existing Business Information Guide folder.
A limited number of the original Business Information Guide folders (A5 lever arch style) are available for collection from the Town Hall, by prior arrangement.
Please note that this ‘refresh’ and subsequent editions will only be issued in electronic format (via email). The attachment emailed out to businesses was a low resolution version of the document – a high resolution version is available for download at http://www.darlington.gov.uk/Business/business_support/publications.htm should you require this.
You may wish to store the entire document electronically on your computer and/or print off only the revised pages for insertion in your existing Business Information Guide folder.
The following changes have been made since the last refresh of the Guide:
1. There have been a significant number of additions to the Guide, resulting in an increase from 62 pages to 108 in total
2. Pages have been renumbered (where appropriate)

6. Page 17/18 – Section on Darlington 14-19 Partnership added

10. Page 29 – Section on The LEO Programme added
11. Page 35 – An entirely new 21-page section dedicated to Funding added
