Story Title

Darlington Business Club

Darlington Business Club offers networking, support and advice to local businesses of all sizes in and around Darlington. It offers great networking opportunities and business professionals who network regularly can increase sales; reduce costs; find new suppliers; share ideas and experience.

Our monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 6.30 pm (for 7.00 pm) with a presentation highlighting important and current business issues. They include a guest speaker, buffet and the opportunity to network with fellow members and guests. Guests can attend 2 meetings free of charge - if you enjoy it then you'll need to become a member to attend further meetings.

The next meeting will be held on 2 November 2011 at Morton Park Business Training Centre:

Business Growth by Franchising

If you are interested in growing your business and expanding into other geographical areas then you should consider the franchise route. Franchising involves the replication of an existing successful business format into other areas by the granting of business rights to third party franchisees.

There are over seven hundred franchise systems operating in the UK and some have become household names such as McDonalds, Prontaprint and Body Shop.

The guest speaker is Julie Waites of The Franchise Company. The franchise company is a firm of franchise consultants based in Darlington affiliated to the British Franchise Association.

Come along and find out what franchising is, how it works, the advantages and disadvantages, the steps into franchising and the costs involved.

To reserve your seat please visit our website at www.darlingtonbusinessclub.co.uk/

The Business Club is also working in Partnership to host the Christmas Fair ‘All I Want for Christmas’ to be held on 10 November 2011 at the Dolphin Centre Darlington from 4.30pm onwards.
